Anybody figure out any new ways of running Bant with the new set? Like cards and strategy's. (Not wolf run)

Bant aggro is pretty neat. Take a look at my list Bant X-men

Evolve with Geist of Saint Traft is fun. 4/4 Angel every turn = evolve during the attack phase every turn.

Then Undying with Supreme Verdict = you keep creatures.

So, throw in Zameck Guildmage for those undying creatures plus card draw.

Here's what I am working on.... but it's definitely a work in progress.: Evolving Aggro - Smooth Version

Does looping Zameck Guildmage with Strangleroot Geist actually work. Geist always comes back.

Anybody come up with a g/u based bant control using evolve?

Any thoughts on Azorius Charm vs Simic Charm in bant?

Azorius Charm vs. Simic Charm

....and the winner is Selesnya Charm! - In all reality, it depends on the deck composition.

If you need removal for bigger creatures, Selesnya Charm gives a 2/2 creature (helps with evolve), removal (pair with Rancor for removal of 3 power creature), and combat tricks with Evasion.

Azorius Charm gives situational removal (temporary), life gain (good against haste), and well... the card draw kinda sucks on it's own.

Simic Charm gives removal (temporary), combat trick, and hexproof (good against burn/removal)

I have all of these options in my deck or sideboard... but I went with Azorius Charm for my mainboard, as it provides what I think is good protection for Geist of Saint Traft... if they block, remove it, if they multi-block, return the Geist. - Simic Charm could do this just as well, but I'm sure that if I can cast Geist of Saint Traft, I can cast Azorius Charm.

What strategy's seem to work against other control decks like Esper or American? Milling, wolf run or just attacking? It's seems that Bant has problems facing control matches.

Undying is a killer against control. Board wipes, such as Supreme Verdict leaves you with a board full of creatures. That's why the Zameck Guildmage pairing is strong.

American has a few direct damage spells such as Pillar of Flame, that keep creatures off the board, but a couple Simic Charms for the Hexproof can fix that in an instant. I can't think of many red spells that exile instead of kill, while not targeting the creature.

Packing a few of your own Supreme Verdict's and properly using Rapid Hybridization keeps the board in your favour. Right now, I'm testing the deck with Divine Reckoning, so that I can keep a Zameck Guildmage, or a Master Biomancer with all my returning undying creatures... seems to work, but very situational.

Anybody's opinion on running Ghost Quarter mainboard in Bant with Nephalia Drownyard going unchecked in control matchups.

..So who's going through and editing posts.?

I did not type "American has a few..." !

And whoever edited it, did it wrong, as I typed "RUG"... "Red, Blue, Green" is not "American"

Oops... I was thinking of another post, where I spoke of the same cards... sorry about that.

@chrisstick, control matchups are always tricky. You can really choose how you want to beat your opponent but be wary that if you choose the mill route, Psychic Spiral is in almost every control sideboard as a hard counter to Nephalia Drownyard that can actually just kill the opponent on the spot. Kessig Wolf Run seems to be the best option to me because it provides a much faster threat rather than just the slow grind of a drownyard.
