Best Standard Heroic/Voltron Color Combo?

I've seen Selesnya, Orzhov, Azorius, Boros, mono white and mono black. Which of these is strongest for Heroic/Voltron?

The bestow mechanic will aid the voltron decks and color wise it becomes tricky.

I'd probably say Bant. It has hexproof, aura support (Hero of Iroas is awesome, at least in my opinion) and good auras.

TitansFTW I agree that Hero is fantastic, which is why I bought a playset. But I would rather use 2 colors because a heroic deck should really be fast and it's difficult to have a fast land base with 3 colors. Also I find 2 to just be more consistent, so I use Selesnya. But I guess it's a matter of opinion.

I'd say for voltron run either Bant or Junk. Both have access to hexproof and Unflinching Courage while the difference is whether you want more aggro or control. Black offers Herald of Torment and Spiteful Returned as Bestow options with Gift of Orzhova as another lifegain effect. Blue gives you Detention Sphere and Aqueous Form for better control.

If you want to go 2-colour, then Selesnya's your best bet. It has Hero of Iroas , Fleecemane Lion , Unflinching Courage and more to choose from.

TitansFTW Yea that's what I figured and my list that I own is on my profile. But I've seen some nice Orzhov with Agent of the Fates .

That seems a bit janky, more of a weak control build than actual Voltron. Orzhov doesn't have as many powerful enchantments, nor big bodies to slap them on.

I'm running Selesnya, Fabled Hero +Boon Satyr is fun in this kind of setup, I agree it has to be 2 color, 3 color mana bases are too clunky for this type of build.

I think Aqueous Form and fliers are being undervalued here.

ChiefBell Although Aqueous Form is an awesome card for Voltron, I don't think the rest of blue is as good as green or white, and it's hard to go for blue just to include Aqueous Form in deck, and you don't need flying when you have trample. Selesnya offers better enchantments (Unflinching Courage ) and better creatures (Fleecemane Lion ) to put enchantments on.

ChiefBell The Flying can also be found in white with Wingsteed Rider and Akroan Skyguard . Blue just doesn't really have the right creatures to stand up to Selesnya. Both have their pros and cons however.
