Anyone know if there are any black equivalents to things like Pillar of Flame or Searing Spear ? I think there are but I cant think of them. Need direct damage not instant kill or -1/-1 counters
Then there is only Essence Drain and Corpse Lunge .

Bump in the Night does damage to a player, but I feel that's not what you're looking for.

Bump in the Night actually doesn't deal damage to a player. It just makes the targeted opponent lose 3 life. There's a difference.

Actually... yea it is... things like that to keep my burn but to make Vampire Nocturnus more powerful

Shadow Slice , Essence Harvest , Undercity Plague (sort of) since we're including spells that cause life loss. You needed to specify that.
Why not just do a Gatherer search? It's so much easier than asking.
