Brimaz in Midrange?

The title says it all: How will Brimaz, King of Oreskos fit into a midrange deck? He seems like a solid card in any deck, but the general consensus is he'll fit in white weenie decks. I ask this because I pulled one, and don't know if I plan on using him in a B/W/R midrange deck or trading him for a playset of Hero's Downfall or two Stormbreath Dragon .

If you are set up for it a t4 swing at 4 power is as good as it gets almost, and worst comes to worst you start pumping out tokens to the point where you are overrunning your opponent as you can generate them on the attack and defense

He's decently powerful, and if he survives even one attack he just ramps out cats. There is certainly nothing wrong with a 3/4 vigilance for 3 on it's own, and the cat's are powerful. I could see him in some midrange builds.

What about with green for mana ramping and using heroics?

First of all, if you can get a playset of Hero's Downfall out of it, I would take that trade in a heartbeat. Brimaz is a great card, but there's no way his price holds at near $30 unless White Weenie becomes a legit Tier 1 archetype. It's simple supply and demand.

Anyways, to answer the actual question, I honestly believe he is good enough to fit into almost any style deck, though he'd be competing with Boros Reckoner in BWR or Naya mid. Maybe 4 Reckoners and 2 Brimaz is a good mix. I also like him in Bant midrange due to the synergy with Master Biomancer and Ephara, God of the Polis .
