Ok, now that I have your attention, I believe we have a serious problem at our hands. I present to you Boros Charm and card:Aurelia's Fury. Both of these cards are just devestating to the control player. I have been tinkering with an esper list for gatecrash but I may just throw it away for a midrange deck if these cards can't be solved because let's face it, Naya and Boros are going to be two of the biggest decks in the format. If you don't understand why I am freaking out about these cards let me explain, they both stop the control player from interacting with the aggro players board state......... At instant speed! No longer will it be safe to supreme verdict on turn 4 to stabalize the board and lingering souls tokens will neveer again be able to chump block without a worry on their mind. Mutilate may be an option but without fetches it will hardly ever amount to more than -3/-3 or -4/-4. This problem is going to have to be adressed fairly soon as gatecrash is just a few short weeks away so that was the purpose of this thread, to discuss and analyze ways for decks like esper control to chug through the boros duo.

Mutilate and Terminus are both cards. With the new shock lands, you will never have an issue with a low Swamp count. Also, against aggro, -3/-3 should be good enough almost all the time.

Also, Negate is a card.

Yeah Dispel is very good since it doesn't require you to keep that much mana open. While it will mostly stay in the side board, if Fury or any other instants start to get out of hand I wouldn't be surprised to see it move into the main deck as a few copies.

Oh no, you might also have to rely on cards like AEtherize and Blind Obedience to slow aggro down until you can find a way to make card advantage. Heaven forbid there be more interaction in that match up beyond the race to the kill or the sweeper.
