Can Delver make a comeback?

I've noticed that quite a few people, including Wizards themselves, have thrown out the idea of a new deck around Delver of Secrets  Flip . I think it'd be interesting, but what sort of direction would it take? What colors would work best? Is it even possible?

I've been thinking about this as well. I think at least some people will play it and I think it will come in the form of like an American (U/R/W) build or some U/B build with Duskmantle Seer .

Yeah, I've noticed that the big color combinations for it are American, Esper, and a few B/U/G decks. American will probably incorporate it the best if it chooses (not like it needs it with Bonfire, Revelation, and everything else). Esper could work, but I don't know that what Delver wants to do and what most Esper decks want to do are entirely the same thing. I'd love to see a B/U/G deck take off with it, but it'd be a fringe deck in my opinion. Duskmantle Seer definitely helps it out

Though, personally, I've thought about using it along with the Izzet Staticaster & Nightshade Peddler combo in R/U/G. Problem is, I just don't think those colors have the best options in standard. And it's definitely a fringe deck.

Check out my Delver/Runechanter's Pike deck: deck:delver-pike-30-01-13-1

It's probably not the most competitive delver deck right now, but I like it.
