Just like Modern, Standard now has its own "chat" thread. We're hoping that this thread draws avid Standard players to share their knowledge.
This thread is dedicated entirely to Standard. Feel free to post your thoughts on the meta, ideas for your next decklist, and just chat generally about the format!
Of course, you can always start a new thread if you're interested in discussing one particular aspect of the format; this thread should be used for the quick thoughts and informal questions about the format.
This discussion will be ongoing; you are free to post here as long as you're on topic.
This is NOT a deck help thread. Please do not spam deck help requests.

This string is committed totally to Standard. Don't hesitate to post your contemplations on the meta, thoughts for your next decklist, and simply visit commonly about the configuration!

For some reason Professor Onyx in my Liliana's Hord deck is coming up as not Standard legal. Why do you think that might be?

The power of Volos was unleashed in standard in the last release, with all the Channel Cards which can not be countered. Flying Skyturtle is my pick for best card in the release.

Minousmancer this is a bit late, but back then I was playing a kind of janky mono-black aggro deck. It got me to gold and platinum on arena in consecutive months, so I had gotten it in paper.
Right now, I’m playing an Izzet deck focused on combining with Rielle, the Everwise and Ominous Seas to combat meta decks. It’s working ok, I’ve taken down several Temur Rec decks with the brew. (I’ll probably post it some time soon).
