Consider Ashiok!

After a great time at the Max Point Series, where I took 3rd, Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver prevailed tremendously. I played him as a 1 of, and he worked every time he entered, and took over the game! I upped him to 2, and tested against one of my team mates, and played 10 matches, winning 8 of them, due to him. Consider Ashiok in your control deck!

I already run her in mine, and she works wonders, provided you can protect her of course. She does stall out against other control decks, or some mono black that has a lot of non-creature spells. But all in all, she can really help any deck that has the counters/spot removal to keep the board clear while she does her work.

Just started running it in one of my modern decks, and have been quite impressed. It's solid against control, especially when Liliana of the Veil is also in play, as it threatens to wipe away their hand (and Lili will keep their hand empty after that). And if the game goes long enough, Ashiok could mill someone out....

Ashiok is a he.

I'm also coming to see his value. Not many walkers have 5 loyalty at the end of turn 3 and "do nothing" so aren't a threat.

In Modern there are a lot of good 2CMC creatures running around to steal and in standard he's a clock. I like it.

Ashiok does not bow to your pathetic concept of "gender". Lolthus card is a boss. I had slightly made a modern deck too with him, turn 2 Liliana, turn 3 ashiok, or vice versa. He's nuts in standard. Ill play him til its bad! Look out GP Richmond, I'm coming for your soul!

Nope. Ashiok is still currently undefined. People just use "he" for simplicity
