I was just looking at Gift of Immortality as a potential card for a Junk constellation deck as it can help you drop in two enchantments during a turn of yours if one of your enchantment creatures gets killed, why is it not really a thing?
Doomwake Giant + Gift of Immortality would be brutal!

I tried it in a Junk Reanimator (getting Siege Rhino and Ashen Rider to continuously enter the battlefield) but it came down to just having better plays. Gift has no immediate impact on the board state, and you have much better 3-5 drops to play if you're ramping. It does serve as dissuasion from blocking and killing a creature that has an ETB effect, but the benefit didn't seem like it was enough.
Your idea is certainly different and I encourage you to try, but that's why it didn't work for me.

It takes long before it gives you a better advantage than a 3 drop like Brimaz, Courser or Anafenza does. In the meantime, you're getting behind on the board and you need to drag the game on before you can make use of the recurring advantage.

It is kind of a hit and miss enchantment. It is good for a creature that has an ETB effect, especially when constellation is involved, but aside from just taking up space that something better coulf fit into..all your opponent would have to do is hit the creature with an instant kill spell before your end step to stop Gift from coming back as well.

With Eidolon of Blossoms this is pretty funny, so I'd give it a go for lulz, but it is difficult to pull off.

Cause you need to kill your dude. Cards that rely on the opponent to do something (Fanatic of Xenagos , I had high hopes for you, and you betrayed me!!) are generally bad.
You do not have the space in the deck to include creatures, Gifts and ways to kill them over and over.
