Control decks for the Amonkhet season

I wonder if anyone will NOT be playing Control this season.

Variations on it are all I'm seeing in the top lists.

So dull.

I'm not lol and I've actually got a pretty decent game 2 and 3 against control.

Also, during my testing I've been doing on Xmage has shown some pretty cool brews. Since Xmage is free, more people brew on there then net deck and its pretty fun. So I've been seeing everything from Bant Goodstuff to Naya Exert to R/G Ulamog Ramp

Yeah I'm not taking about you and me.

I'm talking about all the net deckers that hang out at just about every LGS.

If you can get a single Dispossess to resolve, U/R control usually just folds... Do that consistently enough times and they'll move on to something else.

Mardu Vehicles...

Also are you serious declaring the format is "dull" less than two days after being released?

No one who has any sense will be playing Mardu Vehicles.

There are too many answers for it in every colour, now.

Did I say the "format was dull"?

No. I did not.

I said it's dull that all the top lists at the moment seem to feature some form of Control.

I've been personally working on a BANT flash control deck and so far its been testing pretty well against U/R control that my brother is toying with at the moment. I have some high hopes to see a wide variety of decks since crazy cat lady is gone.

I would like that too.

This attitude is highly troubling.

The format now, (Post Atlanta-Pre PT) is the most diverse it has been for a very long time. Control has been absent for a very long time, So why call out players who enjoy a specific game play that has been unplayable for ages.

The format is young, don't whinge because you can't adapt and beat a 'top' deck.

I'm so sorry you got upset.

Exactly where did I say that I can't beat Control?

That's right. Nowhere.

You said that the format has become dull.

Which is functionally the same as it being solved.

This couldn't be further from the truth. UR had very little success when compared to Mardu in Atlanta.

So where's the problem?

No, I didn't say that. As I have already pointed out once above.

Mate, you seem to be the one having problems. Maybe you should take some deep breaths.

Deep breaths taken.

My apologies for my misinterpretation of "so dull". Wasn't aware of what it meant.

White has some decent control creatures as well. Angel of Sanctions + Growing Ranks is a fun combo
