Cryptolith Rite- underhyped?
Standard forum

Yes, sorry, I posted something like this on the Modern forum but I think it has a bit more relevance here.
Cryptolith Rite seems to be a very underhyped card by many, but there are a few killer combos that could work for it.
1- Cryptolith Rite + token generator (Secure the Wastes) + Westvale Abbey Flip. Ouch. That's a very possible and potential game winner, if you ask me.
2- Eldrazi Scions. You're getting a mana per scion, and you can generate stupid amounts of mana if you sac em as well. Ulamog T5 or T6, anyone?
Anyways, I'm not really a Standard player, but thought I'd give my two cents on what seems to be a very undervalued card. (I've just seen a lot of thing saying it's "overrated", "not very good", etc.)
Thanks for reading.
I think the main problem right now is that ramp and tokens aren't super well positioned currently. Languish and Declaration in Stone are going to big players in the new standard. Cryptolith Rite could be very powerful, but it will struggle until what it is trying to do becomes more viable.

You've still got Boiling Earth, Radiant Flames, and Kozilek's Return against Tokens, as well.
Also Planar Outburst.

everyone is forgetting the black enchantment, all tokens get -2/-2 which I will be running SB against the Arlinn/Chandra matchups

I know there are groups of people working on Cryptolith Rite decks in standard, one of which being Brad Nelson. He makes some cool stuff and tends to know what he's doing.
