I've been looking to get into standard more and was wondering what decks are popular right now and what would do well.
Collected Company decks will be great but otherwise it's too early to tell anything.

U/R prowess may remain, if a replacement is made for Swiftspear.

Esper Dragons or Tokens may survive, G/W Megamorph might make a resurgence alongside its Bant cousin. Ramp is almost untouched. Jeskai, Mardu, and Abzan are most likely obsolete come SOI, Atarka Red will at least be a turn slower and is likely dead or evolves into midrange.
Ramp, Eldrazi midrange, and G/W or G/W/B are probably your safest bets.

G/B aristocrats is a fun deck and I have my version tuned to be more resilient for when rotation comes by cutting down on the copies of the spells that rotates out and using the versions that will stay in, I will admit that it isn't the most efficient but I still like it and it does some crazy stuff at my LGS

I ask the same question about this time pre-rotation. In a broad sense I start ditching my pricey cards that are rotating and investing in cards that will more than likely make big impacts on the meta. It's about all one can do if not looking to keep investing more $ into new cards. That's my broad "philosophy".
But specifically, as mentioned earlier, CoCo will continue to see great play. Any Eldrazi or Aristocrat builds should stick. Those that don't use rally.
Judging very lightly on the newest spoilers for Shadows graveyard love will be something. Unpopular cards like Kiora, Master of the Depths and the like might bump up in play. But my guess is Bant's back. And it's going to be played a lot.

CoCo decks are gonna be big when SOI comes out. There are already a lot of GW and GB versions out there. My personal favorite is GB Aggro Elves. Using Collected Company and Foul-Tongue Shriek as my two non elf cards and I can swarm the field quickly for turn 5-7 kills.
Also Eldrazi. I've been working on a strong BW Eldrazi midrange build that is just mean. It can even hold its own in the current meta and only struggles with swarm agro. Also it will be standard legal for the longest amount of time due to most of its pieces being BFZ and OGW.
One of the bad things about both decks is that they have certain pricey cards due to Modern love. CoCo is usually between $15-$17 bucks due to it replacing Birthing Pod. Also all the Eldrazi you would want are pretty priced due to how well Eldrazi did at the Pro tour; even though prices are falling.

Oh bring back the days of Doran, the Siege Tower and his treefolk of doom. Too bad there isn't as many good walls in the current meta.

Oh... I can't wait!
Rotation discussion happens the moment the release date of the Block where rotation will occur is announced.
This is often about 3-4 months before it's release.
Rotation is now with 2-Set Block.
We will now have 6 months between blocks (and thus rotation)... and up to 4 of those 6 months will be spent discussing what to do at rotation!

It's too early to talk about Rotation. Just wait until we get more info about Shadows over Innistrad.
