Deck list with a sketchy win condition, has anyone heard of this?

I was playing in the TCG player 50k Indianapolis last month. A lot of people were talking about cheating because of the recent player bans.My opponent was telling me about a guy who built a deck and played two cards he would use to purposely cause a game loss. The idea is you play Dakra Mystic , then wait until you have a Spirit of the Labyrinth in play. You activate the Dakra Mystic on your opponents upkeep, choose to draw. Then when they draw a card for their turn, you call a judge to issue the player a game loss. Has anyone seen a deck list like this, or have heard of anyone trying this. Would this actually work? Drawing an extra card is a game loss but this is a little different.

That deck is bad, and the person who made it should feel bad.

No. Because both sides can verify what card was accidentally drawn with Dakra Mystic it's a warning not a game loss.
However, even if you could get game losses out of it eventually, it would be impossible for said deck to ever win a tournament since it would always involve a judge. You're going to get hit with intentionally Failing to Maintain Boardstate and probably Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

Sorry, I slightly misunderstood the timing. It would be a Game Loss for drawing extra cards since the goal is to get them to draw for turn.
However, the other stuff still stands. Judges are not just going to humor you all day and continually slap game losses on your opponents.

Judges would indeed slap game losses on your opponents if your opponents continued to draw extra cards when they shouldn't. Hopefully after the first time it happened, the opponent wouldn't make the same mistake again. The deck isn't a good deck, but neither is it unsportsmanlike. At best it's a troll deck designed to pick on less experienced players.

Like Goody said, there's nothing wrong with pairing Dakra Mystic and Spirit of the Labyrinth. In fact, it's a strong combination. The problem with the deck isn't that its illegal, but rather a number of other things:
1: This deck will only beat noobs. This interaction only beats people that a decent deck could probably beat anyways.
2: Even if this deck can consistently win game 1, how does it win game 2 and 3? I've made misplays before, but if my misplay caused a game loss, I probably wouldn't do it again.

Honestly, if I ever saw this combination beating newer or younger players trying to get into the game, I would have a serious talk with the pilot. If he pushed me aside like it was not a big deal, or that newer players need to learn how to not make stupid mistakes, or whatever the excuse is, I would pummel him into the ground.

Yeah honestly this would be funny in a casual setting with some friends but that's about it

I would not want to play this against new players, as I would only want to give the game loss to experienced players as they would deserve it for missing the interaction.
It's funny, but it's still a pretty shitty thing to do.

If your win condition is your opponent being bad at magic in a competitive REL event you should probably be playing a different deck.
There was an article by Mike Flores that talked about this a long time ago. He's an absolute idiot and I wouldn't look too far into anything related to him.
