Is deuty-of-acquittals going to replace Restoration Angel after rotation for standard? I say yes, keeping a lot of things in mind like the possible reprint of Thragtusk or the use playing Prime Speaker a second time to refill your hand. The whole set seems slower, so returning rather than blinking may not make a world of difference

Au contrair, playing the Deupty can save one of your key creatures from a kill spell. For 2 mana you protect one of your creatures, get their ETB effect again (if any) and you get a 2/2 body you can block with. Not too shabby for a common.

I gotta say for a common Deputy of Acquittals is quite amazing, saved my bacon a couple times in prerelease. I mean a 2/2 flasher who will bounce and save one of your creatures, what's not to like? Cheaper than Resto without the blink and body is a fair trade off in my opinion. of course time will tell with M14 and Theros

I plan to run it for sure. I'm a Prime Speaker Bant fan, so I'm really banking on an M14 reprint of Thragtusk.
