Devotion to Crater's Claws?

Alright I run a devotion to green deck because I'm a basic bitch and I like splooging my hydras all over you on turn 4. But i was wondering, "Hey since I can float 28 mana turn 4, would it be worth it to throw in some Crater's Claws and watch my opponent cry as I deal enough damage to beat them and the next three generations of their bloodline?"
So I now ask you, community of TappedOut. Is it worth it to splash red for Crater's Claws (and maybe a Xenagos, the Reveler )? I have 4 Sylvan Caryatids, a few fetches, and a mountain to add the red to my deck. Please let me know!!
I would try it out and see, it seems like a fun idea. If it flops just revert the changes.

Normally Green Devotion will splash red for Crater's Claws and Xenagos, the Reveler ... because why not Fireball someone for 20 to the face?
Heads up for that Deflecting Palm though.

I mean, it's either that or black to basically just re-create the Doomwake Giant /Eidolon of Blossoms deck.

UPDATE TIME: Played Gameday with 3 Crater's Claws and pulled a 3rd place overall. Beat a jeskai control 2-0. Beat an aggro Mardu 2-0. Almost beat an aggro mono-black but couldn't handle the life loss. The claw was a win con in literally every single match I won, floating enough damage to do a huge blow. Overall I felt it was very effective and held up against a very diverse grouping of decks. Definitely keeping it

OP_Magikarp played me at the shop we go to and smacked me for 19 damage to the face in one turn. It's a really really really dirty combo

I just recently converted a MGD to R/G because I was struggling against fliers. Brought in Crater's Claws , Lightning Strike (For you Mantis Rider ),
Why not grab the mana from Xenagos, the Reveler and couldn't resist grabbing 2x Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker and a 2x Stormbreath Dragon . I was surprised that of all the red brought in the most impact has been Crater's Claws . The first night I dropped it for 24 and 17 damage to win 2 games out of nowhere when my opponent thought he was defending my masses well.
I lost a few things I liked in the transition but I like it overall

AND NO THIS DOESN'T BELONG IN DECK HELP because I'm offering up this idea as discussion to all wonderful souls who care to use it and ponder over it as well.
