Do you EVER draw first?

Is it just me or is there seldom reason to Draw rather than Play first in a game? It's supposed to be a meaningful choice, but you sacrifice so much by drawing first. And I cannot remember a single game (yes I play competitively) where my opponent won the roll and chose to draw.
And if there is some odd control matchup where you're supposed to draw first, just seems like the exception that proves the rule.
What's your experience? What could Wizards do to make the draw a meaningful choice rather than the default for when you lose the die roll?

I know a couple guys that choose to draw first because their decks run better with the card advantage. I don't tend to since I run very aggro decks most of the time that are effective and have control of the game by the time i run out of a hand.

Standard-wise, I really don't see anyone draw first. I see it a lot in Limited, though. Card advantage makes a huge deal there.

I draw first a lot in one deck. The card advantage can often make or break my deck deck:lose-lose-and-draw. Apart from that specific deck however... I almost always play first.

Manaless dredge players always choose to be on the draw. I play control so whenever I am playing the control mirror, I like to be on the draw in order to start getting through my deck and to the good stuff first. Even if it means they get to play the first planeswalker, my counterspell will usually be waiting for it.

And the choice is actually a very skill intensive choice, while it may not look it because many people actually just "snap keep" and be on the play. the thought process intended by wizards was supposed to be where the player takes into consideration the matchup, wether card advantage would be better than starting out ahead in a race, and several other factors that can influence the way a game may pan out.

Unless I'm playing a deck which i can do something meaningful on turn one (like turn 1 Tinker to a Darksteel Colossus meaningful), I generally prefer to be on the draw. Card advantage is a huge part of most of my deck designing.

The only time I usually see someone choose to draw first is when they're playing reanimator and want to ditch something ASAP.
