Does Dromoka's Command make G/W Heroic Viable?

U/W Heroic has been a mainstay in the Theros-Khans Standard, and R/W has had its moments as well. I've also run into a few G/W brews along the way that were good but seemed to be missing something. Dromoka's Command may just be that thing.

First and foremost, Fighting is a really nice form of removal in a Heroic deck, especially if Favored Hoplite or Seeker of the Way are dishing out the beats. The +1/+1 counter option is very relevant as a way to trigger multiple instances of Heroic, and it combos with Hardened Scales - which is typically found in these decks - to make your dudes huge quickly. These two options are your go-to's, but the others are situationally useful as well.

In the end, I doubt that it will be as good as U/W, but I could see this archetype making a push to tier 1.5 or 2. Thoughts?

Here's a sample list I put together:

The Glamorization of Violence

I doubt that the most competitive version of the deck will mainboard 3 Epic Confrontation, but who can resist that artwork?

Tom Ross is currently 9-3 at the SCG Invitational at Syracuse with a Bant () Heroic deck the includes Dromoka's Command.

The only thing is GW versus GWU is very different because the blue gives it everything it needs to be consistent

Blue certainly brings a lot to the table; there's no denying that. However, the only effect that would be tough to replace would be Aqueous Form. Warriors' Lesson can replace the card advantage provided by Ordeal of Thassa, and you have solid sideboard protection such as Ranger's Guile and Inspiring Call to replace counterspells. Probably not quite as good as U/W, but not far off.

Stubborn Denial becomes really powerful in Heroic decks, not just as a protection spell but also a hard counterspell for a myriad of annoying things, including Dig Through Time, boardwipes, and planeswalkers.

Green will never do Blue as well as Blue, but the pros of Green are notable enough to make it close- better removal (seriously, Green with better removal, go figure) and bigger dudes.

I think you might be underestimating the draw capabilities with blue because i would say 90% of the time you are attacking with one creature and you need the draw before you deal damage to the opponent and that one card cycle from warriors lesson wont really cut it. I am not saying itll be a bad deck im just saying blue or bant will be better probably every time.

I definitely agree that Blue is better lol, but that doesn't mean that Selesnya couldn't be a thing as well. Idk, we already seem to have a pretty ridiculous amount of diversity in the format, why not more?

Well I'll be damned, looks like our boy Ross finished in the Top 8 with that beastly Bant deck. I checked out the list and Dromoka's Command was literally the only Green card in the 75.
