Does RDW need Goblin Rabblemaster?

I currently run 2 ((Goblin Rabblemaster)) in my RDW. But the more I play it, the less I like it. I'm thinking of cutting it for either more Heelcutter or Mardu Scout.

It depends on your build, really. As long as you run 4x Dragon Fodder and 4x Hordeling Outburst, it'll remain quite strong. Still, the Rabbler's mostly a very explosive card in matchups you already do ok in and a meh card in poor matchups. If you want potential replacements, Eidolon of the Great Revel is pretty good.

Goblin Rabblemasters mana cost may just be getting a bit too high in the current meta for what he's worth. Sure he's strong, but everyone knows how to deal with it now and Goblin Heelcutter is much faster and harder to get rid of when it's dashed. Plus it's nice that it's harder to block him. And Mardu Scout is even faster than both, which is definitely more important in RDW. Just my thoughts.

I don't really play Standard, so I can't give you advice. But I CAN tell you how to link cards. Use square brackets instead of parenthesis. For example,

[[Goblin RabbleMaster]]
becomes Goblin Rabblemaster.

Rabblemaster isn't particularly good in mono red. heelcutter is probably just better in the deck.

I prefer Eidolon of the Great Revel in most matchups.

I feel Goblin Rabblemaster is still very powerful. But having the appropriate amount of him in your deck depends on whether you are on the play or the draw. I know that you don't always know if Game 1 you are playing first or not. But having 2 in your main is always decent especially if you are on the play. A lot of people are starting to either stick with 1 archetype that they like, particularly Esper Dragons, Mardu Dragons, some form of Abzan, Atarka Red/Mono-Red, and then you have the other brews that aren't exactly flooding the field. So if your meta is very "mainstream" and net deck based, then the 2 Rabbles are fine in the main. I would say that you don't necessarily need 2 more in the side. If your meta is full of random decks, such as GW Company, 4-color anything, mono-green, some token based deck (usually R/W), or some of other off the wall brew, then Rabble, though still good, becomes less favored. He's particularly good against net decks right now because he goes wide. Esper Dragons has a little bit of an easier time with him, but Mardu dragons doesn't have enough 2 drop interaction for Rabble. Also, against an opposing Atarka Red, it's very good because you can just create dudes and swing through their 1/1's or offer trades where as they're losing value and you're just gaining it. And yes, with Hordeling Outburst and Dragon Fodder, Rabble becomes quite better.

There's a saying here in my country that goes 'If you're using Red and not playing Rabblemaster...it's probably a crappy deck...'. Unless you're playing an extreme Monored with curve 1 or 2, Rabblemaster is a must in whatever deck uses Red. He goes out of control so easily...
