So I am a bit out of touch with current sets and rotations (just getting back into MTG). When will Domri Rade rotate out of standard (assuming its not reprinted)

When the block after Theros enters, all of the RTR block will rotate out.

Domri rade, as well as the rest of the ravnica block, rotates out when the set labeled "Huey" is released in early october of this year.

Thanks.I ask because it was suggested as a good card to complement a deck of mine, but if its only got 6 months live I don't want to drop 60 on a pair of cards...

Valid concern @ KnightFire ~ that's steep. There may be some earnbavk value in Domri Rade but I'm pretty sure he's peaked where price is concerned. He's good but I don't think he'll be huge after rotation so I expect him to lose value over time and probably end up at the $15-$20 range. Just my observation of course

I expect to see his price to drop a little, if not stay the same. He could easily be played in Naya Jungle in Modern due to his low mana cost and ability to force creatures to fight. He's powerful. I dont except to see him as much in eternal formats, though.

Basically, if he really makes your deck better and you play modern or know people who do, I'd grab a couple for trading or building your own deck.

Domri Rade is amazing and the ultimate will win games for sure. I expect to see him make his way into zoo and gruul decks in modern. He isn't a bad choice for EDH either combo with Mayael the Anima
