Draw cards in red?

I am preparing for Purphoros by making a mono-red aggro deck. Well, with a splash of black so I can use Dreadbore and Rakdos, Lord of Riots . I have the shocks I need and will put one or two guildgates or scrylands and maybe 2 actual swamps. Can anyone help me with finding draw power in red or black? I know there is that 2 cost red card that allows you to draw 2 cards after you discard one. Is there something else maybe better than that anyone can suggest? And you never know there might be better stuff in theros.

tempest Wow, Read the Bones seems like an excellent card to add. Worth the 2 life, because in an aggro deck you should have life to spare. yungxak yes thats right. I will most likely have a couple of those in there.

RickyHoeppner. you won't be able to run theros and m13 in the same deck for standard. m13 rotates out when theros is released.

I am aware of that. Im pretty sure wild guess was reprinted in M14 though.

it is. my bad. the picture they show on here says m13 so i go confused. but if you're going for aggro, don't include too many draw spells. i'd say a set of read the bones max

Thats sort of what I was thinking. For one more mana, to be able to control what you draw and not have to discard a card is well worth it.

Underworld Connections is a very strong draw engine that is rotation-safe.
Toil / Trouble is also an option, along with Cremate .

There's Blood Scrivener if you find yourself emptying your hand regularly, but unusual to play in an aggro deck. The new black God looks pretty good.

Blood Scrivener seems like maybe a 2 of. It would help once my hand is empty. Playing two creatures per turn late game is good.

Chandra, Pyromaster 's 0 ability is basically draw one card.Granted if you cant cast the card the turn you use it kind of sucks but all red card draw has a down side. Plus she is a planewalker so it possible to get multiple uses out of her. I think her and read the bones are probably going to be your best option for black/red after rotation.
You could consider the back god but if you are going to be mainly red he might not be the best option. for right now you could consider Sign in Blood but that would depend on how black heavy you are. Oh and I suppose there is Underworld Connections too, which happens to be staying in the format after rotation.

yes I am going mainly red, but I plan on having a good amokunt of black mana sources. Ordered my set of blood crypts, plan on having a couple gates, and a few swamps. So it might be good to have 1 Sign in Blood , 1 Wild Guess , and 2 or 3 read the bones. Chandra, Pyromaster seems like a great card to add. I even just pulled one the other day. Basically drawing two cards per turn. Can you play lands exiled with it?

you can if you have not played your land for turn. She does not allow you to play extra lands for the turn. Which is why it is recommended you do her 0 ability before you play a land for the turn as it is better to play the one you get of her ability if you get one then one in hand unless you need untapped mana and the one you get is one that comes in tapped.

oh and Sign in Blood is rotating which is why I said for now. I only mentioned it as a an option in case you needed something for right now. Sorry if I was unclear and caused confusion.
