So today while playing with my newer tiny leaders deck I played Hanweir Militia Captain + Hope Against Hope equals a times 2 when he becomes Westvale Cult Leader Flip
I like your thinking but I wouldn't say it's a reliable combo. Also, it's EMN not EDM. ;)

I've used this in SOI only draft before, it was pretty fun. Also neither of these is in ENM.

Definitely seems broken in draft.
Seems like a lot to pay for an "ehh..." Aura in any other format (Standard included).

I run Malitia Captain in my commander deck, maybe I need to add an HaH for shenanigans!

I wouldn't call this "viable" for "any" format. But I like what you're doing.
