Foul-Tongue Shriek worth running in MBA?

It's a good possibility. Only playtesting will tell.

Yah, Mono Black Aggro.
I think Foul-Tongue Shriek is a winmore card. If you're attacking with enough creatures to make it worthwhile, you're already winning. When behind, it's a weak stabilizer that also pushes you to maybe attack badly, sacrificing board position.
I might be wrong though, especially in something as MBA you're usually attacking full-on anyways. I just think there are better cards available.

It's potentially a 1-mana Lightning Helix. And it's a common. So, definitely not bad.
I don't play Standard, so I have no idea what mono-black aggro plays like (or should I say, I have no idea why the hell people are attempting mono-black aggro at all), but if you can flood the board with dudes and start swinging early enough, why the hell not?

It's a rogue brew that Im going to use till I build something else. I'm thinking but it uses Tormented Hero, Mardu Shadowspear, Spiteful Returned and Brutal Hordechief for bleed attacks, and Boon of Erebos to support suicide aggro.

Playing a card that is good all the time will let you leverage play skill. Cards that have high variance win more by luck. If your opponent is not killing your guys and your beating his face in do you really want it? It has negative tempo and is card disadvantage much like Lava Spike. Couldn't another 2/1 for provide equal damage on average without the negatives while increasing consistency?

There's more bodies than what I listed ... But I tested the deck out yesterday and don't particularly care for it. I think I'm going to cut the theme and just go with the more common beat sticks for a more controlling build.

I think it is really good especially paired with Brutal Hordechief. If you have 5 creatures out, one being the Hordechief, all out attack and throw down Foul-Tongue Shriek that is 10 damage un-blockable not to mention if any of the actual attackers get through.

I say yes, budget builders say yes, non-budget builders don't play the deck. Could be worth testing.
