So far in the born of the gods spoiler, there's nothing that I would really consider running in my Azorius control deck with the exception of the scry lands. Esper control got its fair share of benefits, but are there any cards spoiled so far that you think would be run in control?
I think Gild will see a decent amount of play in esper because it provides a way for dealing with gods. Other than that, I don't see much. But at least there haven't been any cards spoiled that really hurt control.

Vortex Elemental is worth trying out, maybe out of the sideboard once most of the removal goes out.
Fated Retribution can likely linger somewhere the the 75 as a 1 of. Having a 5th or 6th wrath that handles planeswalkers and doesn't hit Detention Sphere is nice.
Brimaz, King of Oreskos is really good. Might even be good enough for the sideboard into a few decent threats that some UW lists have adopted. Siding in a few Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Archangel of Thune once the removal leaves is a pretty nasty surprise.

Yea I'm considering having 2 Brimaz, King of Oreskos in the sideboard to throw my opponent off when I land him. Vortex Elemental does seem decent in the sideboard, I think I'm liking Yoked Ox more in my sideboard to combat aggro. But I think I'll give it a shot. As far as Fated Retribution.... It's such a high drop, and I'm not sure how the "and planeswalkers" make up for it. Supreme Verdict definitely spoiled me with the uncountable effect for only four drop. But I think I might run one.

It's certainly not your primary wrath, but it would be nice for games where your Detention Sphere s are getting taxed and possibly blown up after sideboard, like against GR Monsters.
