Grave Bramble

It seems like Grave Bramble should get some consideration for sideboards. Three mana 3/4 with protection from zombies?! Seems like a good deal, especially with zombies doing so well. I would like to hear other thoughts on this card, along with why you wouldn't at least sideboard sometimes.

Grave Bramble dies to Abrupt Decay and Ultimate Price , which are both prevalent. Also, Zombies can get around a blocker by reusing the dead (Gravecrawler and Slitherhead ) and using direct damage or life sappers to drain you. If Grave Bramble didn't have defender, it might be more viable.

A lot of cards die to Abrupt Decay and Ultimate Price xD. I don't think that's that great a reason not to play it. But yeah, i get what your saying.

The fact that Grave Bramble dies to Abrupt Decay and Ultimate Price shouldn't be discounted, even if many other cards in Standard die to the same spells. While this argument is not specific to Grave Bramble , it should still be taken into account.

i think the argument that something is bad because it dies from removal is a little silly. i understand that alot of the big threats in standard right now are very resistant to removal right now (Thragtusk , Falkenrath Aristocrat , Gravecrawler ), but that doesn't automatically make something bad. that being said, Grave Bramble is a pretty bad card seeing as all it can do is block and wait to die. it cant do anything else which makes it pretty weak in the standard right now

Once again, I'm not saying Grave Bramble is bad because it dies to removal. However, I am pointing out that Grave Bramble dies to removal (very prevalent removal) because it's a relevant fact to consider when debating Grave Bramble 's utility. Poor resistance to removal (albeit decent resistance to burn, Mizzium Mortars notwithstanding) couples with the other weaknesses of the card and hurts its viability.

I really think Grave Bramble isn't as bad as people think it is. Just mainly as a sideboard option. Three mana 3/4 stops zombies. Just saying.

Knight of Glory does the same exact thing you want from Grave Bramble . Doesn't die to either Ultimate Price or Abrupt Decay , and can clock in damage while Grave Bramble can't.
