How to beat Ojutai Bant

I am having a terrible time trying to beat my friends Ojutai Bant Deck. He has Ojutai, Deathmist raptor, Mastery of the Unseen and Ajani Steadfast.
Tried a variant of the Naya Dragons I found here. Rending Volley helped somewhat. Does anyone have ideas (my preferred colors are Naya)
Try casting Stormbreath Dragon once against that deck. If you're backing it up with any form of disruption it's very hard for them to beat. I can't see your link, but Stormbreath Dragon is a solid plan.

Just use Mardu Dragons to beat that deck. Mardu Dragons is set up very well against Ojutai Bant. Mardu dragons allows you to run Stormbreath Dragon which is a problem card for that deck as well as your best removal package for Ojutai (Crackling Doom and Foul-Tongue Invocation). Also, Crux of Fate as a sideboard (or mainboard) card is also very good in Mardu Dragons. And since it's Mardu, it gives you some enchantment hate in the deck if you would like, sideboard or main (Utter End or Glare of Heresy or Erase). I was thinking about making a Mardu dragons list and it is very powerful. And if you are that afraid of Deathmist Raptor shenanigans, Mardu also offers Anger of the Gods. Boom done! You should viably be able to handle Ojutai bant.

UpperDeckerTaco good call on Mardu Dragons. Do you have that decklist made yet? I'd like to see it.

Or run Abzan. Anafenza, the Foremost naturally break Deathmist Raptor's recursion. Also you got an array of nice fatties to pick in Abzan

magnetcrocodile The only issue with abzan aggro, the only thing it has to deal with Dragonlord Ojutai is the removal when it's tapped which can be tough if they run any amount of countermagic. And then you have Self-Inflicted Wound in which they can just sac something else to it. So Abzan has the tools, but it is a bit rough. The best way to deal with an Ojutai, Foul-Tongue Invocation IF they have no other creatures on board, or Crux of Fate or Crackling Doom. Abzan aggro runs maybe Crux in the board. It's just rough because abzan aggro has only Wingmate Roc as their air assault and Ojutai bant can get Ojutai on board pretty quick and it out classes the Roc.

Well, Mardu and Abzan is not that different. But I think Abzan got better creature. Siege Rhino, Anafenza, Fleecemane Lion, Rakshasa Deathdealer, etc are solid drop and can push the game quite fast. The only thing that Bant has to stop early aggro maybe Deathmist Raptor, but a simple removal can take care of it. And utility spell? got it covered. Dromoka's Command is a great mainboard material, which is able to remove Mastery of the Unseen and net you some bonus. Abzan Charm mainly act as a removal, but can also replenish your hand if you need it.
Why worry over a simple Dragonlord Ojutai, if our creature can easily trade for it(Anafenza, the Foremost, Siege Rhino, Surrak, the Hunt Caller, even an attack from Rakshasa Deathdealer can make Ojutai think twice before blocking). Note that you could drop all of them before Dragonlord Ojutai hit the board, which is a plus.
Don't get me wrong, Mardu is great, but I prefer Abzan
