Fade into Antiquity it can kill gods but with that said how much are gods played.

even in a deck it will be most likely not more then a 1-2off.

then again it it by far the cheapest option. we have Detention Sphere and while it works it can still be brought back.

Glare of Heresy deals only with the white god and Angelic Edict simple costs 5 witch is way to much.

same goes for merciless ediction and Ashen Rider (though this could be used in some reanimator build if those are still played)

so whats your opion on the card???

You mean Merciless Eviction .

Fade into Antiquity seems like a fairly solid sideboard card.

I run two of them in my sideboard specifically to play against devotion decks that run gods, Detention Sphere and Assemble the Legion . I find it effective. Then again, I also have 2x Golgari Charm in the side board too, but that ability destroys enchantments not exiles them.

Personally, I like the card. I have used it and it gives me a sigh of relief every time.

Honestly, for anything but the gods, I'd rather run Naturalize , and I don't see the gods as threatening enough to justify the cost increase. But I'm running aggro, so the gods are rarely out and creatures for long anyway.

It's certainly nice in Limited, though.

Fade into Antiquity is a sideboard must for any green deck. If your playing green white then definitely if they're running Erabos. If you're playing aggro then obviously Fade isn't very good. The red god (whose name I forgot) is in pretty much every guttersnipe/pyromancer deck as well and his burn to the face can be a pain. Thassa is in every blue deck as well for unblockable bs. (plus scry before draw) Nylea is pretty damn prominent as well and generally always a creature. Heliod is the only one I've yet to see played too much. (Which is strange since Fabled Hero plus Vigilance is plain ridiculous)

Personally I'm a fan of Bramblecrush for most things because I can also destroy land.

I also have 2 in my sideboard (Let The Revelries Begin!)- again specifically against the gods in the devotion decks. Mono Blue devotion runs 4 x Thassa, God of the Sea and mono black devotion typically runs 2 x Erebos, God of the Dead . It also can be used for bestow creatures, the god's weapons and regular enchantments in the right situations, so its not like it's a dead card.
