I am not too thrilled with khans of tarkir! but one card did catch my eye. alter of the brood stood out to me. I know that there is some way to make this card a combo piece, but I can't think of any. Do you guys have and ideas, or it's relevance in tens standard meta?
The card can be found here: http://mythicspoiler.com/ktk/cards/altarofthebrood.html
alter of the brood, retraction helix, midnight guard. Then have ornithopter or tormod's crypt.but that combo is very clunky.

which could actually be pretty amazing in my Turn 3: Infinite Elves as winning on turn 3 is fun and it gives protection vs Pyroclasm , Anger of the Gods , etc. Might not be as terrible as I thought.

Have altar out on the field, and Cloudstone Curio . Play 2 Burning-Tree Emissary s and infinitely bounce and play them.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and any of his dumb stuff enables this as well. Viscera Seer and Lingering Tormentor come to mind. Being colorless lets you use it in any silly sort of endless ETB scernario.

The mill combo in standard isn't that fragile considering it can go off turn 4 and there are many cards in white and blue to protect creatures, I use Swan Song in my deck
Taigam's Scheming also allows for digging for combo pieces

Phyrexian Metamorph +Leonin Relic-Warder .
As far as standard goes, I haven't seen anything that will create that infinite ETB loop.

It seems like any infinite combo that gives infinite creatures can now win a turn earlier?
