Is There Something Going on With Polymorphist's Jest and Scouring Sands?

I'm pretty sure there's some pretty strong removal going on here...though, it could just be me.

With only five mana (2RRU), you can kill all your opponents' creatures, plus you get to scry 1! It's pretty amazing! What do you think?

Circle of Flame and Polymorphist's Jest is better as further jests work that way.

Both are pretty neat combos. Especially for the colors.

Often a pretty nifty wipe. Spear of Heliod or any other non-creature anthem effect stops it, though.

It's a bit janky, but its a boardwipe trick if you need it. The problem is there is no reason to include Scouring Sands in a deck other than to pull that trick. Circle of Flame has some additional use, but not much.

jest and Anger of the Gods is probably best .. It's a bit expensive, 2 cards and not worth it. I've consider it, I run a grixis control build, against azban midrange, but pure anger is just better against the majority of the field.

The 2 cards to make jest work is the biggest problem you can't overcome.

I would rather play End Hostilities . Two cards for a board wipe isn't exactly a value play.

Gorgosaurusrex, the concept of End Hostilities as a single-card board wipe is great, except it wont bypass indestructible. Furthermore, it destroys everyone's creatures, even your own. So I find that Polymorphist's Jest + Scouring Sands is still a very powerful removal combo. I'm not dissing End Hostilities , I'm just promoting my combo.
