Kruphix support

So after seeing the spoiler for Kruphix, and seeing how he's similar to Omnath, Locus of Mana will Ring of Three Wishes start seeing play?
I mean, having an "infinite" supply of colorless mana and a card that can tutor for what you want to spend it on seems good right?
Probably not, the big downside to Kruphix, God of Horizons is it takes several turns to really do anything. You just can't afford to run that many 5 drops that have no immediate effect on the board. If you've got mana to spare there are much better cards that you can be playing.

Also, after sinking 20 mana into Ring of Three Wishes ....it's useless afterward. It MIGHT be fringe-playable (in EDH, anyway) if it did something insane after the last counter was removed, like draw up to 20 cards, but even then there are much better alternatives.

If I have tutored even ONCE with ring meecht I should be WAY ahead. I shouldn't have to tutor more than twice at most
I was thinking of it simply as a one of. You are floating mana during the course of the game, and it's a nice "sync" to throw your extra mana into.
Yes it goes well with Sphinx's Revelation , but why not have both? A tutor for Elspeth, Sun's Champion or AEtherling (which is brutal with Kruphix BTW) on top of 4 draw spells seems good.
Also, what if you reshuffle your library with an Elixir of Immortality ? You can find a win con faster with Ring of Three Wishes instead of waiting to draw for a few turns.

Or you could just use that 10 mana to cast Sphinx's Revelation for 7 at instant speed. Or 2 Diabolic Revelation and get 2 cards.

This is true, but I have seen the following cards start to see more play:
Notion Thief (monoblack sideboard)
Spirit of the Labyrinth (white weenie, orzhov/boros aaggro)
Dispel seeing more and more sideboards.
I thought it would be nice to have another "out" as I don't like "putting all my eggs into one basket" with using 4 of one card and no others to compliment it.
It probably won't see play, but neither did Staff of the Death Magus until recently

Look at the mana costs of those cards, though, and what they do. The only one that surprises me is the Staff of the Death Magus , but burn decks are seeing a slight rise and Mono-B needed a way to gain life. It's cheap enough to come out before they die, and they'll likely be gaining 2+ life per turn (Swamp + spell).
To use Ring of Three Wishes , you use all of Turn 5 to cast it. Use Turn 6 to tutor for a card. Then you can actually cast the card on Turn 7. If you need an answer so bad that you need to tutor for it, you can't wait 2 turns to cast it.
Throw Kruphix into the mix. He's a 5 drop, which conflicts with Ro3W, but you play him Turn 4 (let's say you ramp him out). Turn 5 you pass the turn without playing anything just to float all your 6 mana (assuming you hit your land drop) as colorless at the end of your opponent's turn. Then on Turn 6, you cast Ro3W off the floated mana, use 5 of your 7 available mana to activate it, and hope you have a 3-mana (or less) answer to whatever hell your opponent has unleashed upon you? Again, that's 2 whole turns (4 and 5) where you did nothing to interact with your opponent.

I mentioned it as a tutor for a win con, not necessarily an answer.
I see your point about not "getting use out of it until later turns" but that's what it's used for. You're not looking to "tutor, drop, and win" by turn 6 or 7 with it.

Short answer: no.
Long answer: Ring of Three Wishes is still a card you'd never want to see. It's a 5-drop with a 5-mana activation cost and no other functions. It needs Kruphix to be viable, and you shouldn't need to invest so many resources to tutor in a 60-card format anyway.
It's likelier that you'd get Bant control with even stronger Sphinx's Revelation s. This is assuming Kruphix sees competitive Standard play.
