So has anybody tested out Kytheon, Hero of Akros Flip? If so how has he been working for you?
Im using him in RW Aggro on MTGO. So far so good. He's really good with Swiftspear and Seeker.

I've been playing him in Mono-white....idk. I'm just not feeling him, but maybe I need more testing. It just feels like the shell I'm running him in isn't all that interested in him.

Not in this format, maybe after rotation in R/W or G/W. 2/1s are not very good right now. I would use him in a deck that cares about having one drops and needs a way to push through an attack. I think he has some potential but he might have been designed to take a backseat right now. The new Gideon card in BFZ should be a badass as he appears to be a central hero from the art we've seen.

Well, he gets traded with a thopter token or some 1/1 elv. If he just would be a bear that would be so much stronger. Or if the indestructible effect would cost 1 mana less. However, this way, the card is not very good in standard right now.

See, those of you who are having problems with Kytheon are trying him in the wrong shell I think.
I built a bant megamorph deck a while back and slotted in 3 Kytheon in place of the Fleecemane Lions. (They are awkwardly costed and holding open 5 mana anticipating removal for multiple turns bogs down your speed.)
The swap has been extremely successful since his +1 can untap Ojutai, or Deathmist Raptor. The trick isn't "flip him on T2" like Boros is trying to do but, rather, to slot him into your curve and go to town.
Morphing down a Maternal Witness with a raptor in the grave and then playing a Kytheon leads to a swing on the next turn with 3 dudes. Untapping a raptor with indestructible is game breaking.
The deck is Mighty Morphin' Raptor Rangers!.

Before rotation run him in a WU deck with thopters, ensoul and aqueous form, stratus walk. Doesnt get blocked and flips as early as turn 2 with 2 ornithopters in your starting hand.

The card is good, the shell is a bit underwhelming.
