Okay so if Lazav, Dimir Mastermind becomes a copy of a god such as Mogis, God of Slaughter , would he still have to have the devotion trigger considering his name is still Lazav, Dimir Mastermind ? Lazav/Aetherling this article says that I could use Aetherling's abilities with Lazav. Just wanting some clarification.

Rules questions should be asked in the Q&A, which is linked in the header bar.

First, the devotion-related ability of the god cards is not a trigger. It's a static ability.

When an object uses its own name in its text without reading "a card named" (or something of the sort), then the mention is self-referential and means "this object." Lazav, Dimir Mastermind keeps its own name, so it will just insert that in place of Mogis, God of Slaughter 's name when you copy Mogis, God of Slaughter . The devotion ability will apply.

Yes.
Gods are unconditional creature cards in any zone other than the battlefield. That is because on the battlefield they "lose" the ability if the devotion condition is not fulfilled. Hence, when Mogis, God of Slaughter hits the graveyard due to milling for instance, he is a creature card, so Lazav may copy him.
What's more, Lazav, Dimir Mastermind copies target "card". He doesn't care on the type of the card after the triggered ability was put on the stack.
Furthermore, Lazav will indeed not be a creature as long as your devotion to black or red is less than 7. He will have a mana cost of 2RB, will be a legendary enchantment, will be called "Lazav, Dimir Mastermind" instead of "Mogis, God of Slaughter", will have all of Mogis' abilities, will have Hexproof, and will have Lazav's copy card ability.

Okay thank you for clearing that up for me! But that means that abilities such as Blood Baron of Vizkopa , or Reaper of the Wilds can be used if Lazav becomes a copy of them correct?

Yea that's the whole point of copying a card, for the abilities. Otherwise it would say "change the power and toughness to be that other creature's" or something like that.

@Tilwin: Lazav, Dimir Mastermind 's ability doesn't target anything. It triggers whenever a creature card is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, and each instance of the ability is tied via a non-targeting relationship to the creature card that triggered it.
