We've seen quite a few spoilers so far as of the writing of this thread. Possibly not all of them but a good portion so let's talk ideas to make them work!

So far i had a coco abzan one in mind but as of now it kind of fell through.

Let's talk options

I bet Naya Allies will be good. Between fetches and tangos, mana fixing should be great, but a fair few basics may be necessary.

What do you think are auto includes? I say Dromoka's Command no matter what list

I'd still stick to Abzan Allies, the deck looks pretty good with the meager handful of dudes we've gotten.

As for your question, I'm hedging my bets on both Collected Company and Hero of Goma Fada making it into a competitive G/W Allies deck.

With only 3 or so allies so far being cmc 3 and none less. I don't see coco being viable. That could change but it doesn't appear it will

We're only in the first week of spoiler season, and we've already got a pretty decent Abzan CoCo Allies list forming, so don't knock it yet. Until we've got the bulk of the set, don't count anything out.

I won't. Is there anything else from khans anyone could see getting better with allies?

Wait... Imaging Naya allies, featuring Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. That's really good, assuming a couple of cheap allies get released.

My bet is that allies won't be that good in standard but that it'll bonify the modern version of it, maybe making it viable.

I'm trying to play with B/W Allies at the moment and the biggest problem I'm having is that you can't give them protection from colourless Eldrazi.

There are great interactions to be had with Liliana, Defiant Necromancer, Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

Bolster can also help get them out of Languish range.

Standard allies will most likely be a swarm strategy using Collected Company, Might of the Masses, and Kytheon's Tactics. Honestly, I think with the new Ally revival card we've seen today, that we're looking at the Eldrazi taking up all the high mana cost slots, while Allies take up 5 or lower mana slots.

However, that's pure speculation at the moment, so it may not come true.

The new card makes B/W Allies more viable too.

Im working on my BW allies build, lifegain subtheme. Using the tomb as a sort of toolbox, being able to play some off colours so long as they get to the graveyard (gotta find more ways to discard my own cards beneficially)

I'm adding a splash of Red for Resolute Blademaster.

Here's my first, rough stab at a Mardu Allies deck.

Of course it will need extensive play testing against Eldrazi decks. Couldn't find any prototypes, yet.

Ally Encampment

Hell yes.

that certainly helps!

Also what was your logic in cutting green?

I have a feeling ally tribal isn't intended to be all tribal. I think you'e intended to use allies as support with other creatures

I don't like the colour Green. lol

Not in Magic, just in general.

Also, I like a lot of the Mardu interactions. Crackling Doom should be able to deal with stupid big Eldrazi rather handily.

So far I like what the B, W and R Allies have to offer the best.

It may change. I had to use G when building a Renown deck and for a deck that needed ramp.

I think I am the opposite to most people. They default to G.

Munda, Ambush Leader suggests that you might be able to play an Ally tribe.

Naya looks to me like the strongest option. It just has a lot available to it and seems like it will be powerful in combat, which is where tribal aggro wants to do its thing.

But if I play standard during this set I kind of really want to run blue. Anyone have thoughts on Bant? Esper? Grixis? There's not a lot of good blue allies but... well, it's blue.

Lots of new Allies spoiled now and, for me at least, my instincts to go with Mardu seem to be favourable.

The 2 drops I was hoping for in W have eventuated, as well as some in B and R.

Now to adjust my pro type deck.

Sword of the Animist is proving more and more useful. The extra land drops are great for getting more bodies on the board.

Made some more adjustments to my Allies deck, based on suggestions, and like how cohesive it is.

Mardu cards provide some good answers for Eldrazi, too.

I must confess, there is one Eldrazi that wormed it's way into the deck. Awkward.

Hope this gives Non-Green players some ideas.
