The new Artifact deck is pretty sweet.

Well since you asked here is a shameless plug for my deck: Chandra's Colossus. It's kinda a cross between rdw and rg devotion. Last fnm I took it to I went 4-0

So funny enough before last pro tour it was actually just over $100 and I didn't notice that it jumped in price! My bad...

INCREDIBLY cheap, and super fun to play...that is, if you like watching other people's pain. People will at the same time laugh at what you are doing, then cry after you beat the, Have fun never again losing to GR...that is, unless you're me and just play stupidly.

I've had a lot of fun with B/W warriors. It's surprisingly effective and I'm seeing a lot of it lately. It's an aggro deck that's fast and flexible and is effective in a lot of matchups. Excellent synergy, some room for interesting design choices and overall a lot of bang for your buck. Most lists for it will be in your budget.

Here's the list I based mine off of:

And the list I run, which is cheaper if you take Thoughtseize out of the sideboard:

Just be careful if there's a lot of RDW running around your meta, it can be tricky to handle that particular match.

You can play Jeskai Tokens for under $150. My version is:

The deck is under $150 if you take out the sideboard. It's super explosive and has a good matchup against mono red aggro, which is really popular right now.

Start out with a Mono Red aggro deck. The PT winning deck minus the Firedrinker Satyrs should be a good place to start.

It's a great aggro/tempo deck and Red aggro decks are always a thing. You can pick up the 1-2 red rares that are good in every set before the PT and you'll have a strong, fun and interesting deck for very little money. It's also easy to build into other R/x/x decks like Jeskai if you want.

I always recommend red aggro for newer players as its a challenging deck that will see the player grow in skill very quickly and gain a very good understanding of the game and of standard.
