I'm wondering which cards from M15 (sultai colours) are good for control

AEtherspouts is a good start. I'll be using it in my control deck coming up.

i'll be using Garruk, Apex Predator in my sultai deck as a finisher

Perilous Vault could be an interesting choice if we get something along the lines of AEtherling or any other flicker-effect (even though I highly doubt it).

Yeah similar to that. Sadly the turtle isn't the fastest clock in the world with 5 dmg every 2 turns.

but the turtle has island walk a huge body and i'm pretty sure there's a blue creature that said creatures without island walk can't attack... and isn't there a creature that can cheat out stupid costed creatures?

Durdle Turtle very quickly became a thing, didn't it? It still loses to Sedge Scorpion though...
Sedge Scorpion is also a good idea for a control option, as Sedge Scorpion don't take no shit from nobody.

Pharika's Chosen says "to hell with that scorpion loser, I'm top dog around here!"

back onto control topic and away from the 1/1's for 1 what about Chasm Skulker ? i mean a control deck usually runs draw spells like Divination so i don't see why having this guy would be that bad

So far it looks like the best things from M15 for sultai control are Garruk, Apex Predator if you want to go that route, Dissipate , and AEtherspouts . You can also possibly do cute things with Turn to Frog and Polymorphist's Jest .

@mathimus55: Do you DARE suggests Pharika's Chosen is superior or even close to the raw power level of Sedge Scorpion ?!? I think someone's going to get a very nasty pincer nip for saying such things!
Also, how does Durdle Turtle work with a clone (for example, The Mimeoplasm ). Does it even get to re-enter play from exile? If so, does it come back as a DurdleyTurtley or a Clone with the ETB effect activating or whatnot?

It should return due to that ability being a delayed trigger, similar to Obzedat. It should also then trigger it's own etb effect and be a tapped and attacking copy of whatever you want. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

On second read it's not a delayed trigger, but the rest of what I said should be accurate.

[]ookypuppy6] i will concede that Sedge Scorpion does bring lots to the table, but Pharika's Chosen is in a class of it's own. much like the Llanowar Elves reign over Elvish Mystic or the new rugged highlands is a new and STRICTLY better Kazandu Refuge

He's so green and he's so mean, his deathtouch is OBSCENE,
And his stinger and his pincer is gonna get you CREAMED!"

So back to MC Durdleturtle, in casual I see him working very well with Soul of the Harvest or Trostani, Selesnya's Voice , as the turtle may need to attack, but can set off those abilities with no mana investment and with that fat ass will likely survive the conflict.

pooky don't forget the pseudo unblockable (pseudo purely coz they need an island) nature and it triggers on every other combat step

would running some kind of mana accelerator be of use (i.e. Market Festival or Sylvan Caryatid ?)

Chasm Skulker for sure the best control monster. You draw cards, and vs other control decks he has a very frustrating board presence.

i'd like to iterate that i mean for the cards to be "better" than ths block cards
