Making Cards Indestructible in Standard
Standard forum

Anyone got a list of all the ones that exist so far? I'm Mesmerized by the blue and green color compositions. I have even been thinking of going full on ramp and throwing red in for destruction. But basically I want my deck to pivot off of Hornet Nest and find ways to indestructible it, clone it, and even reuse it over and over again. Anyone have some suggestions to get me started towards the right path?

I think you're going to have a tough time getting indestructible without white. I'd consider running Bant (). I'll list a few options below:
Aegis AngelAjani's PresenceEphemeral ShieldsMortal's ResolveSoul of New PhyrexiaSpirit Bonds (would require building around)
I found these using a simple Gatherer search. They're all of the relevant cards in Standard that have "indestructible" printed on them.

if you go on gatherer and filter format by standard and rules text contains indestructible you will have your list

Yes! This is all very good suggestions! I've thrown a prototype together called "Horney Hornets". People have many ways of removing Hornet Nest so I need BIG ways to control this then assault. Beastmaster Ascension? :D

Gotcha. I'm new to IRL tournaments so I am learning how the formats work. If there are any other things that would make Setessan Tactics reusable that would be great. Maybe throw some hydras in that get big quick so I can throw them at the nests? Something like Heroes' Bane?

Use Polukranos, World Eater, then make him monstrous to deal a ton of damage to your Hornet Nest and make a ton of deathtouch tokens. Then win.

Whatever you monstrosity him for is divided among those creatures. For example: You have 2 nests out and monstrosity him for 3 (which is tapping a lot of mana btw) you can only hit one for 2 and the other for 1 or one for all 3 (divided damage however you choose). Doesn't seem worth it so much really.

Polukranos, World Eater's monstrous trigger can only target creatures your opponents control.

Oh, you're right, my bad. Still run Polly, cause he's badass, but not for that reason. :)

Well someone deleted my deck for name sake. I remade it "Death from Above" so check out what I've got. Any suggestions are appreciated. What are some good spirit bond decks since you said "build around it"?

Setessan Tactics is by far the best enabler of Hornet Nest.
Turn 1: Forest, Elvish Mystic
Turn 2: Plains, Hornet Nest
Turn 3: Forest, Polukranos, World Eater
Turn 4: Attack with Polukranos, World Eater, cast Gift of Immortality on Hornet Nest, then cast Setessan Tactics on Hornet Nest, then fight Polukranos, World Eater, giving you 5 Insects.

Forgot to add a land drop to turn 4, but you get the idea.

What about Red Green White. Get hornets nest out and a couple other creatures than when the time is right use instant speed indestructible and tap creatures for stoke the flames. BAM 4 creatures for almost free and the hornets make up for the tapped creatures and you can also tap two hornets and two more red to stoke again if you have another in hand for another four. or any number of the burns that are in standard that are dirt cheap to use.
