Making Mono-Green work?

I would really like to build a mono-green devotion deck that has Elvish Mystic and Sylvan Caryatid to ramp up into huge threats like Arbor Colossus and Kalonian Hydra and Mistcutter Hydra . What else do I need to make the deck FNM competitive.
Thanks for all the help

Alpha Authority , Nylea, God of the Hunt , Bow of Nylea , and Sedge Scorpion all help.
All of the Sedge Scorpion .

don't forget Witchstalker , Boon Satyr and Sylvan Primordial all are good for devotion and easily playable with the mana ramp available to green and with Nykthos.
I too have been trying to find a way to make green devotion work, but green basically has nothing but creatures and your only win con seems to be to overwhelm them with fatties. So that's why I've been splashing blue and black. It opens up removal, card draw, bounce spells, and counter magic. Plus there is a U/G scry land and U/B scry land which does help the mana fixing along with shocklands and the scry really helps set up your draws so that you can curve out nicely

I've seen quite a few Mono green devotion decks on both the site and in tournaments i watch. Usually they splash red for Domri Rade and Xenagos, The Reveler
Anyways, here is one that I've made if you want to look at it

Wasteland Viper is strictly better than Sedge Scorpion .

Mending Touch seems like an important trick against Supreme Verdict . Golgari Charm could work better but I'd also love to see a mono-green deck to go competitive. Voyaging Satyr synergy with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx makes it more important than Sylvan Caryatid

I made this 2014 Hydras (Advice Wanted) its GW but just take out the white cards and add things like Reverent Hunter and you should be good.

Love mono green (or close to it)
Currently playing The Colossal Gruuler of the Trampled Lands
Garruk, Caller of Beasts and Xenagos, The Reveler are must haves for me. Also love, Nylea, God of the Hunt and Polukranos, World Eater
I also like Karametra's Acolyte
for even more mana. I don't see that card get a ton of play and never understood why. With Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
and Karametra's Acolyte
I can easily get multiple devotion ramps in one tun. This means I can play everything that Garruk pulls and make Polukranos enormous.
There are some fun ones to mix in as well. I really like Giant Adephage
Control can be a bit tough with wipes so planning to work in black for Golgari Charm in side.

I've seen some stupid ramp with mono green devotion. Reverent Hunter can basically wind up around 10/10 or higher by turn 4. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can easily synergize to hop you up to about 32 mana on turn 5/6, which means Mistcutter wins.
God help anyone who plays or splashes blue against Mistcutter.

I forgot to mention the kicker to the strategy- Use aforementioned Voyaging Satyr to untap Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to double your devotion. That's how the numbers become that infuriating.
I hate green.
