In your opinion which of these two cards is better? This is for standard only. Reasons why?

Goblin Rabblemaster or Mardu Strike Leader

i like the Mardu Strike Leader because he attacks through Sylvan Caryatid and his tokens kill more stuff in combat plus as a budget player he is $12. Also if you put him in a soldier deck he becomes harder to kill. Jut mu opinion

Rabblemaster is slightly faster, swinging on turn 2. Also, it combos with Hordeling Outburst, making it a slightly stronger card considering how popular that card is. Plus, Rabblemaster is in red, a slightly better color for tokens in the current standard, as he fits easily into the Jeskai tokens build. That being said, I do like Strike Leader, I just feel that he needs more support than Rabblemaster and is regardless a turn slower, which makes him slightly worse. That being said, there's more support for warriors in this block than goblins, but Rabble fits more easily into the more popular builds and swings for more in the late game.

That's my 2 cents; I like them both, but Rabblemaster is just a bit better.

Don't forget that Chief of the Edge and Chief of the Scale are dudes and that Mardu Charm makes warriors like Hordeling Outburst.

Out of those 2 I like the Goblin Rabblemaster because he is faster and can do more in the late game. Personally if you include Monastery Mentor in this he would be best cause tokens with prowess is awesome.

Goblin Rabblemaster and it's not even close.

Rabble creates value by just sitting on the board. It's tokens have haste. It hits harder and has the possibility of trading up with opposing creatures. Synergy with Stoke the Flames and Hordeling Outburst.

Mardu Strike Leader must enter the redzone to create a token. Tokens don't have haste. Only hits for 3 and doesn't trade well. Warriors are supported as a tribe but the cards are relatively weak and don't stand on their own like Rabble's friends do.

Goblin Rabblemaster also becomes huge if you can blow out there defenders with removal and he swings through with a few goblins. I often will play a hordling outburst with rabblemaster on the board. Next turn spend some removal to get rid of the blocker that would block rabblemaster and then he swings for 6 by himself , plus the 4 tokens.

I think strike leader is better because he makes bigger tokens and lets not forget dash is an amazing mechanic. Its also bigger than rabblemaster oh and it costs the same amount of mana. The tokens it creates dont need haste because they enter tapped and attacking btw so i dont know what you meant by them needing haste. This is only one guys opinion who runs both cards in mardu standard but i just find the strike leader will do more for me than the rabblemaster will.

Alright straight up rabble vs strike leader, example 1 rabble out first 1 token swings for 1 strike player at 19 now strike enters the field pass turn rabble swing in with 2 tokens strike blocks 1 takes 5 strike down to 14 strike swings and token swings rabble player takes 5 down to 15 rabble player swings with 2 tokens for 6 total strike player down to 8 now heres where the strike takes the lead he leaves his token to block which rabble doesnt have the option to do and swings in makes another token and hits for 5 rabble player down to 10 now if the rabblemaster swings here it trades with the token so he sits still and swings with 3 tokens strike player goes down to 5 and now strike player leaves 1 token once again and swings with his other token and the leader which then makes another token for a total of 7 now if the rabblemaster blocks at all here its an unfavourable trade because strikes tokens hit harder than the goblins and in the other example where strike is played first he just wins.

Stike Leader's tokens don't attack the turn they come into play, they're just placed on the battlefield.

Strike leader is too slow. Rabblemaster makes tokens with haste. He doesn't need to attack to generate them. Having 2 toughness and neededing to attack to get a token WITHOUT haste and surviving to do it again is just not as good. And Rabblemastergets BIGGER.

What we mean is that Rabblemaster always has a 1/1 swinging, regardless of whether or not Rabblemaster actually has to attack. This gives him 1 turn earlier for an attack, while Mardu strike leader, in the current standard, swings turn 4 at best, unless he's played in Abzan midrange, and that deck neither wants nor needs Strike Leader. Basically, Strike Leader is extra cheap (moneywise) Rabblemaster that is nowhere near as good.
