It depends on the deck, but with the limited amount of mana fixing in standard and the power of devotion, I'd say they probably aren't great right now.

You just have to be aware that the more colors you want to support the slower everything gets, because color support usually comes in the form of tapped lands or shock lands. You're either being slowed down by the guildgates / scry lands or taking 2 off your shocks just to try and stay on curve. This can open you up to severe punishment from aggro decks and it will just be an uphill battle you're aware of going into building such a deck. Not to mention tapped lands or just outright mana screw, never seeing the colors you need, can be a death sentence that mono-color or two color decks avoid all together.

Anything is possible. I tinker around with Maze's End, and its all tapped lands, slow as anything. But everything from Anger of the Gods to Supreme Verdict helps you survive long enough to make a come back which is what most slow, long-game decks are anyways.

The support for 3+ colors is nowhere near as strong as it was a year ago. It's not impossible to build with that many colors, but it's certainly more challenging based on the available mana fixing and the relative power of monocolor, as raithe000 said.

Why are you building this deck?

I'm not trying to sound like some a-hole spike player who hates innovation or anything, but that's probably the number one question you need to ask yourself when you build a deck.

Are you trying to build the best possible control deck that has all the answers? Are you building a basic 3 color deck and dipping into the other two colors for one or two cards? Or are you just trying to make a 5 color deck work?

In today's standard format, any deck that is 3 or more colors is typically punished for how slow it needs to be. The only real 5 color deck that has a shot is a Maze's end deck, but that's due to the ability to tutor for any color of mana you need at the moment. Even if you don't want to make a "real" Maze's End deck that uses the maze as the win condition, I think it would be a good idea to at least put it in there for true color fixing and a sure land drop on every turn.

Other things to consider are things that's sole objective is to give you perfect mana. Chromatic Lantern , Prophetic Prism , even Shimmering Grotto will help a lot.

You could try Slivers. They aren't the weakest thing in Standard right now.
