Just wondering what everyone personally thinks are the most underrated cards at the moment.
With all the Esper and Azorius decks, I'm surprised Slaughter Games isn't being played more. Also, Conley Woods's Dredge deck has me digging Nighthowler
White weenie is also seeing quite a big of play at the moment

I personally am loving both Slaughter Games and Notion Thief . I also think Sin Collector is really good right now with since nearly every deck archetype is running plenty of instants and sorceries.

@thePESSIMIST, Sin Collector is not underated, almost all WB decks have it in the sideboards against control

@ifired: Exactly, it's almost only played Sideboard. I honestly think WBx can play it mainboard.

Slaughter games generally doesn't do anything though. The card isn't impactful enough on the board state for it to be worth spending a turn to tap out for in this current standard. There are other reasons why it's not seeing much play but that's the main one.

That.
The cards you'll probably want to get rid of are most likely on the field anyway, by then.

Slaughter Games is a sideboard staple in most R/B/x decks. It's just not powerful enough during the first game to be mainboarded all the time.
I think Agoraphobia is REALLY underrated, especially in the right control shell.

I run a R/B Rakdos Devotion deck and last Friday at the FNM, I won against all the control because of using Slaughter Games to get rid of wrath effect cards and their Sphinx's Revelation s. It is definitely underrated in standard right now.

Just something that bugs me alot, the deck in the description that uses Nighthowler isn't dredge. It's self-mill with graveyard interaction, which is similar to dredge, but it runs nothing with dredge on it, such as
Dredge only exists in legacy, vintage, and to a very lesser extent modern. It bugs me to death when people call something dredge that isn't.

Maybe not cards, but I think that White Weenies is pretty damn strong.
