Always been interested in 'Transformative Sideboards' and am curious what kind of decks are capable of this in standard. Not in a sense of 'whats the best' or anything, just in general.
Thanks for the interest, sorry it's short, not sure what else to add...
Not a very common thing in standard since there's a very limited pool of cards.

It's usually easier for a midrange deck to side board into more of a control deck and vise versa. Aggro decks are a little more difficult because of their lower curve, it limits what you can bring in and still reliably cast on curve.

So I would imagine you fix your mana base to support the transformation rather than siding in lands. For instance switching Sultai into Abzan or Temur to Naya, etc, kind of like a 'Surprise! not what you thought.' After G1 it messes with what they plan to side against you esp if color/card specific.

I don't think most transformations change the colors of the deck. If your playing sultai you don't want to fix your mana base to include white just for your sideboard. It'll make it harder in game 1 to play things on curve because of the potential to draw into the wrong colors greatly increases when your including a 4th color that your only using for sideboard purposes.

Abzan Aggro can transform into a decent control deck post-board. Jeskai Ascendancy can go different ways depending on the build, Tokens into a Control deck and Combo into a Beatdown deck. Jeskai Tempo can also side into a Control deck if needed. I have also seen some RDW's with the option of going big post-board with Dragons and Outpost Siege and taking out some of the 1drops and only keeping the cmc2-3 spells and burn in.

Jeskai Ascendancy Combo used to sideboard into Savage Knuckleblades.
