MUD Dying?

Monoblue devotion is (was?) considered a Tier 1 deck and has bee played a lot. However, in the recent tournament deck lists, MUD seems to be getting replaced more by midrange decks, U/W control decks, and MBD. Is MUD slipping from its pedestal at the top? However, the reincarnation of MUD, U/W devotion has scored some recent tournaments.
It's about time the meta got an influx of new deck idea's and archetypes.

It's still strong, there's just MORE stuff now that rips it from power.

Its amazing how one set can bring five new archetypes to standard. You know, Archetype of Imagination , Archetype of Finality ... Sorry, I'll stop.

Look at how interactive the meta is right now. Black is running rampant with killspells everyone and GR monsters is using playsets of Domri Rade with some burn sprinkled in. We've very much reached a stage where removal is reigning supreme. This is a meta that doesn't welcome devotion decks very readily.

I think the metagame is simply following a tendency it always has where Aggro decks begin strong in the season, but start to falter once people better understand the set and control/midrange decks can better counter the aggression decks like MUD brings.
There were also cards printed in BNG that hose MUD pretty well, I feel. I'm sure it's of no coincidence.
