I am planning on building a naya deck and i have 2 choices, midrange or control maybe even a mix. Especially with the release of new ajani in journey into nyx
In my region, Naya Midrange often lose against Decks with Black (because of Thoughtseize, Doom Blade, Heroes Downfall & Co) and against Control, because Midrange is often too slow.
Naya Control with Anger of the Gods, Stormbreath Dragon and Loxodon Smiter is a good Choice and work pretty well but maybe Naya Aggro is actually the best way to play Naya, because of Speed and possible choices.
If you look on Tournament Decklists you didnt see Naya Midrange very often on the first places. Most times it is Naya Control or Naya Aggro.

It's a pretty fine line between midrange and control when it comes to Naya since the only sweeper available is Anger of the Gods and there are basically no good sources of card advantage, so true "control" isn't really possible in those colors. I'd say worry less about semantics and just build a deck with strong removal and big creatures, preferably ones that can survive Anger.

Card Advantage with Domri Rade , Chandra, Pyromaster , Courser of Kruphix or maybe cards like Chronicler of Heroes , Warriors' Lesson , Nylea's Presence , Hunter's Prowess and Karametra's Favor are possible. Most of them surely not competitive but maybe you find a new deck idea, that work with those cards.
But the Domri Rade , Chandra, Pyromaster and Courser of Kruphix combo, seen in G/R-Decks, could work for Naya too.

Those options are not nearly in the same league as Jace, Architect of Thought
and Sphinx's Revelation
when it comes to card advantage. You need hard-hitting draw power in a reactive style deck like control to ensure that you have the right answers when you need them. Also, Domri Rade
wouldn't really work in a control deck since his card advantage is predicated on having lots of creatures; same goes for Warriors' Lesson
. And I wouldn't count cards like Nylea's Presence
and Karametra's Favor
in the "card advantage" category since they merely replace themselves.
The Naya "Control" decks I've seen usually have more threats than a true control build (Loxodon Smiter , Brimaz, King of Oreskos , Stormbreath Dragon , Xenagos, The Reveler , Polukranos, World Eater , etc.) since they don't have the card advantage or sweepers to play completely reactively.

Midrange is probably best, unless they print non-creature based ramp or a better wrath than Fated Retribution in Journey into Nyx.
