Nullify

So the 2nd place deck @ SCGOpen StLouis, the UW Control list played a single Nullify , and I would like to know, because I can't think right now, what good Aura's are there to counter, besides bestow? Could that be it? Idk...if for just that, not a fan....

It wouldn't be played if it countered only auras. The fact that it's a hard counter to both auras, including bestow, and creatures is what makes it worth considering.

Essence Scatter was already played (to some extent) befor Nullify , and because UW control is only two colors, the extra versatility of Nullify outweighs the fact that it is difficult to cast sometimes.
