What has been the "general" strategy against these decks? Any particular interactions or creatures/permanents that take a higher priority to remove over another?
Kill Xenagos, the Reveler and Polukranos asap.I also think Jund monsters is much better, so be prepared for that to shape the format.

kill the dorks, Thoughtseize
the planeswalkers, Lifebane Zombie
away the poluka's and coursers. kill the dragons. Revoke Existence
on xenagod. This has been my general strategy playing u/w midrange and it works. Though game 1 (without the zombies and needles) I'm usually losing. Post sideboard, adding in the zomibies and Pithing Needle
slows them down enough that I'm usually winning games 2/3.

playing b*/w midrange (I'm playing it against g/r monsters).

Beware of Polly! The Monster player will almost always curve into 5 Mana and is therefore able to fight even Desecration Demons out of the sky.
And Xenagos (in both forms) is the worst thing that could be on the battlefield during a topdecking-war.

So really just use my main removal on Polukranos, World Eater or Stormbreath Dragon ?
I figured the dragon would be the harder of the two, but I guess it makes sense if Polly gets to monstrous himself. If my opponent gets an early Domri Rade , should I just ignore the cards he adds and deal with the actual threats to my lifepoints?
and game 2-3 if I get a Pithing Needle to start with should I name Domri Rade or Xenagos, The Reveler first?

Domri Rade for sure. Not all G/R decks play Xenagos. Every Monster's deck plays 4 Domri.

I would say take out the mana dorks. I play a G/R devotion deck which is just a little off from a G/R monster deck (I have a lot of big guys). If somebody takes my mana ramps out, I have trouble getting my big guys out and it causes it to slow way down.

Cool. Thanks for the intel guys! I don't have much experience facing these decks yet

I guess it really depends on what you're playing. The concept of GR is pretty simple, so countering it is too (in theory).
Get rid of Domri Rade , Polukranos, World Eater and Stormbreath Dragon and you shouldn't be having too hard of a time...
