Pet/sleeper cards for khans standard

Are there any cards you think are really really good right now but must people are not a fan of or just plain forget exist but you love them anyways. I have two which both happen to be mono red Harness by Force and Generator Servant . Main reason I like Harness by Force is practically every deck in the format is running creatures and getting in a bunch of damage with their creatures while still being able to attack with your creatures (and trigger prowess if you have any prowess cards) is just so good right now in my opinion. Plus if you get to strive with it you are probably just going to flat out kill your opponent a vast majority of the time.
Generator Servant is just a card I like a lot I like (casting a turn 4 Elspeth, Sun's Champion seems fun)I still think he has a ton of potential even if no one else does.

I completely agree with Generator Servant being a hit of a magic card, but then again I play Mardu() and I also like to cast my Underworld Cerberus turn 3. = D
Tymaret, the Murder King is a card I have to mention because of the synergy with Grim Haruspex and Necromancer's Stockpile . It's the most amazing draw power I have ever had without playing Blue().

End Hostilities I think it will start seeing play once control decks start being played more. It is also the only reasonably costed boardwipe in standard.

Generator Servant is from m15 not khans. Turn 4 Elspeth has been a thing since early July....
I know everyone knows about Rakshasa Deathdealer but bo one is using him. To me thats a definition of a card that is a 'sleeper'. The argument is he isnt good enough however hes included in a deck that sits at 8-0 right now on the PT. you want a good spec? Jump in now.

Twinflame is ignored for some reason. I'll pay two to "cast" another Stormbreath Dragon , Bear's Companion or whatever to finish my opponent or enable tricks.

I'll second the deathdealer - he's a powerhouse in B/G control or ramp.
This is very biased, but I think Hardened Scales is being overlooked.
Monastery Swiftspear has a large following already but it is well deserved.
Jeskai Elder can be a great card in aggro/tempo.

Hour of Need seems like a no-brainer to me in RUG Monsters decks to get some late-game utility out of dorks, especially if you're running Temur Ascendancy .
Retribution of the Ancients looks like a delicious card to build around.
Disciple of Deceit is a really fun archetype.
Finally, Tormented Thoughts is the biggest blowout no one will see coming.

Pearl Lake Ancient and Dig Through Time just shot up in price.
They were temp sleepers if that counts.

I don't see anyone making anything of Despise and I don't understand why. It's such a great card.
Taking a few steps back to Theros, I have to express my love of Underworld Cerberus as well. Now with Mardu on the board he's better than ever. I don't know why he doesn't see more play.

First of just want to clarify that by khans standard I mean everything that is legal since khans has come out (sorry for any possible confusion). I am liking a lot of the cards suggested Tormented Thoughts is an interesting one no sure how good it is but it seems like it can do a lot.

Im actually quite surprised at the lack of Despise being run although I suspect that with PLA and DTT throwing coming out parties that ppl will begin to add them to either the side or just plain maindeck them. I love Thoughtseize and its great that you can grab anything from it- however the life loss is definitely a drawback in decks that need to run either multiple confluence or multiple painlands/fetches. Despise gets you what you want to get in this format when you cast it at its lowest point, a creature or a planeswalker. Those 2 are the biggest threats so far, so I definitely expect to see Despise seeing a bit more love in the coming weeks.
PLA is probably one of the most evasive creatures around in standard which is being proven right now.... It will probably stick a pretty high price tag given that its a mythic.

I still dislike Pearl Lake Ancient . Bouncing it back to your hand is just so costly.

Bouncing it back to your hand can mean gaining extra life or getting a few extra scry. It's obviously a play that requires some planning however the cost can be outweighed by what you take back with him. I've seen a couple people take him up on defense, simply so they could scry next turn. if you have ten land out you can take him up and then recast him since he has flash. He's really strong.
Another scenario is swing, take up, recast. Ready for defense.

Rob_the_Taavi: Grim Haruspex only triggers on nontoken creatures, no synergy with Necromancer's Stockpile
October 13, 2014 12:15 p.m.
Best case scenario is when you have the lands untapped and can float the mana to recast him immediately. But picking up three lands as a control deck is a pretty substantial price. Even if they have utility (gain life/scry), you are putting yourself back on land drops. If you're forced into doing it more than once within a couple of turns, it's going to become difficult to cast your spells. At the very least, I think 2 is too many.
I like Prognostic Sphinx more, but I'm not sold on that one either. It'll be interesting to watch how the U/B list evolves.

taebby Thanx for pointing that out! What I should have said was,"Tymaret, the Murder King
is a card I have to mention because of the synergy IT HAS with BOTH Grim Haruspex
AND Necromancer's Stockpile
." Sorry for confusing you. I'll explain the interactions further to prevent any more confusion.
Tymaret, the Murder King
(Tymmy) will destroy himself when you play a second copy. That triggers Grim Haruspex
. You can also Sacrifice the in-play Tymmy to return the dead Tymmy to your hand, triggering Grim Haruspex
again. The latter being at Instant speed.
If you discard Tymmy to Necromancer's Stockpile , ideally at the opponents end step. You get to draw a card and you get a tapped 2/2 Zombie token. Which can be Sacrificed to return the discarded Tymmy to your hand, to be discarded again or played for it's Shock ability.
Sorry again for confusing you, but maybe if you put more thought towards the forum topic in your comment instead of nitpicking mine, it might not have happened.
Happy Battling! = D

Rob_the_Taavi Thank you for explaining. Next time I will phrase my post as a question to avoid eliciting comments that I might find condescending.
