Playgroup After Banning

I'm super disappointed about the Felidar Guardian ban. I'm a kid and so I don't normally have much money to spend on this game and when I drew a rai and a guardian in a pre-release I decided to go for it. I didn't get the full version (for budget reasons). But I have four rai and 4 guardian from family gifts. Do you think it is reasonable for my playgroup to continue to allow me to play my deck? (It is vaguely similar to T1 but is just jeskai not greeen). It is a casual playgroup but most decks beat mine about 50/50 with one budget vehicles and one eldrazi aggro with a few modern cards.

If your playgroup is casual and is already not following Standard rules strictly, I don't see a problem. But I'm not them.

I think he's asking the community at large if we think it's okay for him to ask his playgroup.
To help answer that question: yes, it's perfectly reasonable.
Like Argeaux and Epochalyptik said, you're gonna have to ask your playgroup to actually find out, but I can assure you it's fine to request it. Especially considering you're on a budget, I'm sure they'll understand.

The reason I said s/he should ask the playgroup is that I have no idea about what type of playgroup it is.
If someone in my casual playgroup asked if they could keep playing the deck it would be a big negatory from me.
I hated that deck from the moment I saw it as I felt that an infinite combo in Standard is not right, unless it has a lot of answers.
However, my playgroup is all players with disposable incomes, not kids.

i think they should have banned saheeli instead of felidar. for one reason. they built the cat deck with felidar in it. and now the cat deck is crap. I mean it still has playable options but the one thing that the cat deck is missing is a way to make cats. it only has two ways to make them, and one is an embalm. so its not as powerful now. which sucks. cause I just wanted to make kitties. :(

DEDmaster your understanding of why Felidar Guardian was banned may not be as comprehensive as you think.
Wizards admitted that the card should only have flickered other Creatures, not any permanent.
That way it wouldn't have infinite comboed with Saheeli Rai, and could have helped you make kittehs.

I'm sure they would let you as long as you haven't been pulling off the combo every game and winnng 90% of the time.
Every playgroup is different though, no one I play with has an infinite combo deck and we try to keep it that way. I play casual mainly and we try to keep things fun.

Felidar guardian is garbage anyway, never understood the ban, i had like 50 of those

It went infinite with Saheeli Rai and became way too good.
