Prophetic Flamespeaker in RDW's ?

I have been checking out a few RDW decks online, and I have noticed a few main decking Prophetic Flamespeaker and in some cases even in the SB.
What is the value of this?
They usually run 2-3 alongside DJ rabblemaster (he brings the beats)Also I have seen list run Mogis's Warhound
Just curious to what the value of these cards are compared let's say to your average stock Ross inspired Rabble Red.
What match ups does Flamespeaker excel at in rabble red? Also warhound'as benefits to the deck?
Flamespeaker is one of my favorite cards from Theros block, but man, is it ever a removal magnet. Unless your opponent isn't packing removal, he basically reads as 1RR: Remove target Hero's Downfall from an opponent's hand.

Slap a Madcap Skills on him and he's basically "remove me or die." He provides absolutely amazing card advantage , especially if you curve our at three or four. Since he makes a great removal magnet, that means your Goblin Rabblemaster s, Chandra's Phoenix , etc. are less likely to be removed as well.

Im with you as well Sloanan I love flamespeaker, I got a playset as soon as he was released, just havent found the ability to really get him in a deck. Because like you stated as soon as he enters the battlefield, he dies
I have a heavy aggro meta, and I have been thinking of putting him in my Rabble Red deck honestly just to have some fun.

Mogis's Warhound gives the deck a little more durability and punch. Bestow beats board wipes, doesn't get 2-for-1'd by spot removal, etc. and Bestowing for 3 with +2/+2 is pretty nuts. Pumping an Ash Zealot to take on fatties or Goblin Rabblemaster to beef up his toughness are both solid plays

As far as Prophetic Flamespeaker goes, he's awesome but not in RDW / Rabble Red. You already have Goblin Rabblemaster and Chandra's Phoenix as better 3-drop options, and you don't really want to run more than 8 (if that many). Even in the control matchup I would rather have those guys.

I keep saying that people should play Prophetic Flamespeaker in a Jund midrange deck with enough removal to get him through. The extra cards net you even more card advantage with Courser of Kruphix , and you can attrition opponents to death easily. Try it.
You can also play him in the RDW silliness. Don't play a full set, because he's a 1/3 and isn't super aggressive, but when you're low on gas he'll build you back up. The only downside is requiring an empty board on the other side.

Control is where he shines. If he resolves (and you can sneak him in when they tap out for a Supreme Verdict or Divination ), they can't block him and you gain so much card advantage. At worst, he eats their removal spell.

I agree with Prophetic Flamespeaker in a removal-heavy Jund or Rakdos tempo shell. I saw one such Rakdos deck recently that was pretty good and featured him alongside Altac Bloodseeker and Pain Seer .

Just a BTW, I noticed Prophetic Flamespeaker goes wonderfully with the Mardu Raid mechanic, assuming he connects.

Yeah I think red has some major potential next standard season Post Rotation.I mean MRDevotion, looks pretty fun.
and the new Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker is just plain insanely awesome
not mention you still have awesome burn and Chandra, Pyromaster
Im still trying to decide what splash would be the best. Green or Black seem to me the strongest.
But yeah I have rabble red built to a T right now so this seems the easiest way for me to slowly mege into the new standard when RTR rotates.
also Thunderous Might throws down in this deck.

Flamespeaker provides insane card advantage. That's the idea there. As for Warhound...2/2 for 2 cmc isn't amazing. Maybe it's a budget friendly place holder? Take note of other cards...pumping the Flamespeaker makes him more likely to damage an opponent allowing you to get the card advantage
