So I'm making my long awaited return to the standard format (haven't played standard seriously since the Titans ruled the land) and was wondering if you guys think Sidisi Whip will be highly competitive after the release of the new set? I love reanimator so I definitely want to play the deck. Also what cards do yal like for the deck?

Maybe not highly competitive, but probably still a fringe thing. As far as cards that are good in it? You obviously have the eponymous Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and Whip of Erebos as the cornerstones, but one of its biggest goals is to whip back Hornet Queen. I also see Doomwake Giant and Nighthowler sometimes. Satyr Wayfinder can help to fill up the graveyard early, and I see Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix a lot because it's a green midrange deck and basically every green midrange deck in this Standard has those. Sultai Charm is fantastic for removal as is Murderous Cut since you have a full graveyard. A few Hero's Downfall is critical to deal with opposing planeswalkers. Tasigur, the Golden Fang makes an appearance, too. If you want to splash for white, Siege Rhino is also a fantastic Whip target.

Oh and Torrent Elemental! Torrent Elemental is great. From Dragons of Tarkir, Sidisi, Undead Vizier will probably be pretty good. You might want Ultimate Price (which is getting a reprint) as well.

You might want to settle for Abzan Whip instead. Its 2 decks for the price of one.
And you don't need Whip as the win con.

I saw a 4 color version of this that splashed White for Siege Rhino and-even better-Medomai the Ageless.

No, whip has been on the decline as FRF is making more archetypes viable and even more will be available with DTK. I would say if you want to get a cool deck the new GW Devotion that just won GP Miami is the deck to get.
