What do you normally call? How many do you run? Ever find yourself splashing to play this card? Watch match-ups do you bring it in for?

Well if we're talking about standard (which we should be since this is the standard forum) then Slaughter Games should be reserved for the sideboard. DePeluche is correct on its main use, but you should leave it in the Sideboard til the second game after you've learned their deck's win-con after the first game. As for how many, I wouldn't sideboard more than 2. As for splashing to play this card, if you're even thinking about using this card you should more or less fully support both colors in the deck.

Oh and as for match-ups, your deck should have responses to more or less every main deck type in standard to be effective. You'll never know what you'll face. But with Slaughter Games in the sideboard you'll be ready for most everything.

Well, it was meant to be a general question, as it 2-3 in any rb standard or modern deck.
I myself if playing jund or any other rb variant and hit slaughter before my opponent I normally just name slaughter games. i see alot of people using this card and it is a great card no matter the format modern or standard if there is rb its the first card I name game 2, game 3 not as much if we go to a game 3.

technically you can name a card before you see it, like on game one you know the other person is running Thragtusk s, you can deff name it to take care of it. Its kind of a douche-ie move though and won't make you lots of friends, but who needs them

In my standard jund deck i use 1on mainboard and 1the sideboard. The usual targets are thragtusk, ethereal armor, or falkenrath aristocrat. That USUALLY takes care of most of my opponents. Although naming slaughtet games itself is a good move.

You usually name cards that can destroy your gameplay or win-cons
