Slivers

I just made a sliver deck thinking it would be alright and just for fun but upon testing it against my brothers junk, jund and my own naya which always win or place at FNM with it won 4th or 5th turn almost every time. If it didn't by then it would leave the other deck crippled and would easily win in 2 or 3 more turns. Why have people been saying that slivers are bad?

I personally LOVE slivers, and have built a deck based on them, however they can be beaten handily by a well timed board wipe if you don't have a boros charm or something to keep them safe. Also they require a relatively delicate critical mass of creatures and selectively removing important slivers can weaken the deck incredibly quickly. That said, I think as always people are too fast to call new expansions bad, M14 and slivers being no exception.

I like slivers, but they could get dominated by board wipes.

Yeah board wipes rape Slivers, American control and Esper almost always run them. I've recently sided boros charms to try to prevent that blowout because if you can dodge the board wipe you win pretty much.
